What is dnuOSX?

dnuOSX is an unofficial Mac OS X dnuos front end. dnuos is a command line utility that reports on the encoder and encoder settings used for audio files.

Requirements:

Mac OS X 10.4.9+ is required.
It tests fine on Snow Leopard.

Set-up:

Download and install dnuos.
Enter the install path in settings and set your output and filter settings.

Drag & drop a folder or folders from the Finder onto the dnuOSX dock icon or into the drop box on the Output tab.
You can also search iTunes or add iTunes selections.
In immediate mode, results will appear in the output window on the main tab.

Disclaimer:

dnuOSX is an unofficial Mac OS X dnuos front end. The developers of dnuos are aware of it and have encouraged development but bear no responsibility for it.

License and support:

No support is offered for dnuOSX. metaclam will try to help though, and is open to feature requests. He can be reached through this contact form or on many web forums.
dnuOSX © 2009. metaclam retains all rights etc. But it is free to use and distribute as you wish. Basically this is a GNU type license without the open source. (The reason it is not open source is because it contains code portions I use commercially. It makes no internet connections other than opening the dnuos web page and the PayPal donate page.)

History:

0.5-0.7
first internal release
added support for multiple directories
added icon, etc.
